Bulletproof Inc. approached me in early 2017 with a project to re-design and develop their popular blog using new industry-leading technologies. With over a million readers and listeners and hundreds of thousands of website views per month, the WordPress-based site needed to be high performance and easy to use. Employing a clean, minimalist layout and Google's AMP framework, the site is blazing fast, loading instantly in search results from mobile phones and tablets. The site also uses Algolia realtime search, which provides users results and suggestions as they type. Both Bulletproof and I are incredibly thrilled about the result. It's one of the best websites we've ever built.
Philosophy of design
A design approach is a general philosophy that may or may not include a guide for specific methods. Some are to guide the overall goal of the design. Other approaches are to guide the tendencies of the designer.
