Youthocracy.ca
Youthocracy is an experiment involving 500 of Victoria's youth (age 17-20) that aspires to gain important insight into the ongoing problem of youth voting in Canada.
Sponsored by Elections BC, the BC Public Capitol Commission, the Greater Victoria School District, and the BC Youth Parliament, I was hired to design an engaging, functional and accessible website that performed a number of important tasks in accordance with Election BC's privacy standards.
Students are able discuss issues important to them, make suggestions on how to improve the website, vote in various polls and discover why voting is so vital to democracy in Canada. This is all done while remaining completely anonymous - just like the real voting process.
Project Responsibilities: Logo, Identity, Design, Development (Wordpress), Consultation, Illustrations
